VIDOR — It is time to declare war.
Texas A&M University System Entomologist Dr. Bart Drees is speaking at 6 p.m. Monday at the Raymond Gould Community Center, at the corner of Claiborne Street and the Interstate 10 feeder road, about new ants in Texas and the new challenges they present.
The new ants are Argentine ants and Rasberry Crazy ants.
The public is encouraged to attend to learn more about the new exotic species invading Texas.
