ORANGE — Air Force Airman 1st Class Julian D. Edington

Air Force Airman 1st Class Julian D. Edington graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Edington earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the grandson of Jimmy Edington of Vinton, La.

The airman is a 2012 graduate of Mesquite High School, Mesquite, Texas.



Air Force Airman 1st Class Elise M. Burch

Air Force Airman 1st Class Elise M. Burch graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Burch is the daughter of Mona Burch and Derek Cain, both of Bridge City.

She is a 2014 graduate of Bridge City High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Aleah A. Ducharme graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Ducharme is the daughter of Leonel A. and Lesa M. Ducharme of Vinton, La., sister of Mel'onie A. Ducharme and niece of Helen G. Vontoure, both of Orange, Texas.

She is a 2013 graduate of West Orange-Stark High School, Orange, Texas.

Army National Guard Spec. Andrew K. Lisenby

Army National Guard Spec. Andrew K. Lisenby has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman.

Lisenby is the son of Chris Lisenby of Orange and Mary Orchid of Beaumont.

He is a 2007 graduate of Orangefield High School. He earned a master's degree in 2013 from Sam Houston State University, Huntsville.
