ORANGE — Lutcher Stark Class Reunion

Attention all Tigers! The Lutcher Stark High School Classes of 1953 and 1955 will be hosting a reunion Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20, at Sunset Grove Country Club in Orange. Any classmates who graduated in the 1950s are invited to join us. Cost is $60 per person to attend both nights, $40 for Friday only, or $40 for Saturday only. Community Shoe Drive

KLBT 88.1 Community Shoe Drive benefiting Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls will kick off April 1st and the final Shoe Marathon Day will be May 10th at KLBT Radio’s headquarters. Join the community collect new shoes and socks for orphans and vulnerable children in Southeast Texas and all around the world!The drive is in need of drop off locations in Beaumont, Mid-County, Orange, Bridge City, Lumberton, Vidor, and Winnie. The Vidor Rotary Club meets at noon, every Monday, upstairs in the Capital One building on North Main Street.

Vidor Runners and Walkers

Vidor Runners and Walkers meet at 5:30 p.m., every Tuesday, at Claiborne West Park. Runners and walkers of every age and level are invited.

Nederland Art Guild Classes

Every Tuesday in April, the Nederland Art Guild will be painting wine bottles at the Texas Artists Museum, located at 3501 Cultural Center Drive, from 3:30 until 5:30. Dues are $10 per year. If you are a member, you paint for $4. If you are not a member the cost is $5. For these classes a bottle to paint on will be provided. Brushes, paints, and patterns will be available, also. Please join us and have some fun. The first class will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013.
