Public opinion does matter.
The South East Texas Regional Planning Commission is gathering public comments on general activities related to public transit planning and the recently completed DRAFT comprehensive assessment of express bus service transportation needs foe the southeast Texas area.
These activities are related to strategies for increasing the availability and efficiency of public transportation for all the neighborhoods and communities in Jefferson, Orange and Hardin Counties.
Interested citizens are invited to attend any of the public meetings:
• 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 at the Workforce Solutions - Beaumont located at 204 Pearl Street in Beaumont.
• 3 p.m. Wed. Aug. 14 at the Work Force Solutions - Port Arthur located at 3901 Twin City Hwy. in Port Arthur.
• 10 a.m. Fri. Aug. 16 at the Wok Force Solutions - Orange located at 320 Green Ave. in Orange.
