Looking back at Ike

ORANGE — Hurricane Ike will live in the memory of Southeast Texans, especially residents of Orange County, for years to come. For some it will potentially be the most devastating storm-experience of their lives.

Emergency personnel used aluminum boats on city streets trying to reach people who were unable to evacuate and businesses and homes were submerged under feet of water.
