3 dead, 1 hurt in West Texas trailer fire

ODESSA, Texas — Three people are dead after a fire consumed a trailer home in West Texas.

A fire was reported after 6 a.m. Friday in Odessa. Six people were inside the trailer when it caught on fire. One person was hospitalized, and two people escaped unhurt.

Sgt. Gary Duesler of the Ector County Sheriff's Office says authorities don't know yet how the fire started, but are investigating.

The names and ages of the dead were not immediately released.
