St. Therese fundraiser

St. Therese F.A.C.E. committee will be selling Turkey legs, Smoked boudain, and sausage on the stick on Saturday, Oct. 10, on the corner of 10th and Burton starting at 9:00a.m. – until. Come out and support our committee.



Southern Gospel Music

MacArthur Heights Baptist Church, 3600 Nightingale St. in Orange, welcomes Britt Godwin and Friends for a Southern Gospel music performance at 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11. A love offering will be accepted and refreshments will follow. The public is invited.



MOPS

Mothers of Preschoolers, now has a group meeting at First United Methodist Church in the Praise Center, 5th and Pine. MOPS provides an opportunity for mothers of children ages birth through kindergarten to come together. Meetings are the third Thursday of each month from 9:30 a.m. - noon. “Moppetts” activities and care for the children will be provided while moms have adult time during meetings. TREK 252

First Baptist Church Orange, 602 W. Green Ave., invites children ages kindergarten through fifth grade to attend its newly created children’s workshop, TREK 252, which is filled with Bible-learning activities from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., every Sunday. Study lab

First United Methodist Church, 502 N. Sixth St., invites students in 4th through 8th grades to attend study lab from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., every Monday. Wed. Night Live

Wednesday Night Live Fall activities at First United Methodist Church

World’s Strongest Redneck

MacArthur Heights Baptist Church, 3600 Nightingale St., Orange, welcomes Steve McGranahan, the “World’s Strongest Redneck,” at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 14. The event is free and a love offering will be taken. McGranahan has appeared on the 700 Club, Jay Leno and more.



Annual Christmas Bazaar

Fall Revival Service

Pastor Winnie LeBlanc of Miracle Deliverance Tabernacle Church of Beaumont will be guest speaker, along with the church choir and congregation. The public invited to attend.



Community Women’s dinner

First United Methodist Church of Orange will hold its annual community women’s dinner at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 20. The event will be catered by Old Orange Cafe and guest speaker is Lynet Dunn of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church. Breast cancer seminar

Family and Friends Day

Emma Wallace Lambs

The members of the Emma Wallace Lamb Center meet at 6 p.m., on the second, third and fourth Thursday of each month at God’s Living Word, 111 Cherry St. in Orange. The group is committed to restoring the grounds of the Wallace Center. Call 409-670-9743 for info.



Gospel singing
