A woman walking down the middle of the road at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday at the 900 block of Curtis caused a city of Orange police officer to stop the woman.
The woman verbally identified herself and had trouble recalling her birthday according to police reports.
When the woman was told a person by that name with a different birth date. The woman changed her birthday to match the date of the female with the warrant.
The officer informed the woman that there was a warrant for her arrest.
The woman changed her name, birth date and verbally gave her driver’s license number.
The officer was advised that a female with that name also had a warrant for her arrest with the Orange Municipal Court.
The woman was positively identified by jail records.
The woman was arrested for Failure to Identify Fugitive from Justice, intent to give false information and the warrant.
Man parks in intersection arrested for public intoxication
A man parked his car 1:11 a.m. Wednesday at an intersection on 28th Street.
A police officer attempted to wake the male who appeared to be sleeping but was unresponsive according to police reports.
As Acadian Ambulance Service arrived the man became alert and refused treatment.
The officer , according to the police report, said the man’s eyes were glassy and bloodshot and he was unable to maintain his balance.
The officer also said he could smell alcoholic beverage coming from the mans breath.
The man was arrested for public intoxication.
