ORANGE — Nine persons are arrested Friday after the Orange County Grand Jury returned three-three indictments Wednesday for ten persons for obtaining fraudulent prescriptions.

Those arrested are Debra Godfrey with 7 counts, Glen Dorrell for 2 counts, Peggy Gisclair for 1 count, Kacey Larkin with 2 counts, Candy Rash for 4 counts, Brittany Manning with 1 count, Derrick Tregre for 2 counts, Olivia Wilson at 2 counts and Brian Larkin with one count.

The police are still looking for Gary Miller.

Sgt., Jason Laughlin of the Orange Police Narcotics Division opened an investigation approximately one year ago concerning a ring of persons obtaining fraudulent prescriptions from a local doctor’s office. An office employee of the doctor’s office was forging the prescriptions as part of a larger ring of people, who would then pick up the drugs at local pharmacies and bring them back to the ring leader for cash or drugs.

The local doctor was not involved according to a press release from the City of Orange Police Department.

The DEA assisted with the arrests.
