ORANGE — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from April 29 - May 5, 2014:



Tuesday, April 29

• Narcotics at the 7300 block of State Hwy. 87 in Orange. A student in possession of marijuana was transported to a detention facility.

• Child abuse in the Orange area.

• Trespass at the 2600 block of Alice Street in Orange.

• Theft at the 3500 block of Front Street in Vidor.



Wednesday, April 30

• Narcotics at the 7300 block of State Hwy. 87 in Orange. A juvenile was detained for possession of marijuana.

• Theft at the 7200 block of State Hwy. 62 in Orange. Several household appliances were reported as stolen.

• Assault at the 200 block of Border Street. An inmate assaulted another inmate causing injury.

• Warrant at the 1100 block of Central Street in Vidor. Two males were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Animal bite at the 5500 block of Mesquite in Orange.



Thursday, May 1

• Disturbance at the 5100 block of Patillo Road in Orange.

• Assault at the 10500 block of State Hwy. 87 in Orange.

• Assault at the 4000 block of Oil Patch Road in Orange.

• Burglary of a building at the 9800 block of Turtle Road in Orange.

• Criminal mischief at the 3000 block of North Street in Vidor.



Friday, May 2

• Burglary of a habitation at the 4400 block of North Tram Road in Vidor. Two males were arrested.

• Threats at the 2300 block of Main Street in Vidor.

• Theft at the 1800 block of North Tram Road in Vidor.



Saturday, May 3

• Assault at the 200 block of Willette Street in Vidor.



Sunday, May 4

• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at the 4700 block of Evangeline Drive in Vidor.

• Burglary of a building at the 10000 block of State Hwy. 105 in Orange.



Monday, May 5

• Criminal mischief at the 1700 block of Concord Street in Orange.

• Fraud at the 100 block of Patillo Road in Orange.

• Burglary of a motor vehicle at the 6000 block of Grand Street in Orange.
