Man arrested for Bizarro

ORANGE — An Orange resident was arrested for possession of several packets of synthetic marijuana known as Bizarro, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon when Orange police officers responded to a call of suspicious activity.

The officers met with a man at the 9 p.m. Thursday at the hotel room of the reported the suspicious activity.

The man gave the officers permission to search the room where a Springfield XD .45 caliber handgun was located under the bed as well as 15 packages of Bizarro and 6 small plastic bags of a green leafy substance believed to be synthetic marijuana.

The gun was conformed to be stolen according to police reports.

The man has a conviction date of 2003 making it illegal for the man to possess a firearm.

The total weight of the synthetic marijuana is 8.5 ounces.
