Man assaulted in parking lot

A man was taken to a local emergency room center on Tuesday afternoon after his wife found him injured in a parking lot at the 300 block of Burton Ave.

A relative called the wife to inform her the man was injured. When the wife arrived, the man was found bleeding from a head wound and unconscious.

A large group of people were around the man when the wife arrived. According to the wife, persons were pouring milk on her husband and digging in his pockets. The group helped assist her as she put her husband into a car.

Orange Police Department was notified of the incident while the man was still unresponsive at the emergency center, according to a police report.

The investigation is ongoing.

 

Fugitive from justice arrested

A man was arrested on Saturday, April 29, during a traffic stop shortly after midnight near State Hwy. 62 near west Eight gate Road in Orange.

Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted the traffic stop and arrested the man for fail to identify, fugitive from justice and for an outstanding felony warrant.
