Suspects arrested in triple homocide

LAKE CHARLES — A man is arrested in connection with a triple homocide on Wednesday.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Deputy C. Soileau spotted the vehicle that was listed in a nation wide data base, a 2001 Buick Century, dark green, with dark tinted windows with Texas licence plates. After seeing the suspect vehicle on Shattuck Street the deputy attempted to turn around when the suspect turned West onto Gieffers Street. By the time the deputy caught up to the driver had wrecked his vehicle into a parked vehicle in the 1600 block of Geiffers.

Lake Charles Police Departments K-9 unit spotted Armonta Dquon Hadnot, 18, walking on North 1st Ave. in Lake Charles. The suspect attempted to flee on foot. Hadnot surrended without incident once he saw the K-9.

Hadnot was arrested on the 1400 block of John Street.

Lakje Charles Police  notified the public by what’s called a 911 ring down which calls homes with-in a certain area. The message was brief but described what was happening in their neighborhood and to be alert and contact police if needed.

Hadnot was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center on warrants for     3 counts of 1st Degree Murder-No Bond, 3 counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder-200,000 each count, 6 counts of Armed Robbery- 50,000 each count, 6 counts of Armed Robbery with a Firearm- 75,000 each count.

Detectives made contact on Thursday with Lon Allen Porter, driver of the suspect vehicle which was involved in the shots fired incident at 2027 Highway 171, Wednesday. Porter was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Two hours and twenty five minutes after the incident on Highway 21 on Wednesday, Hadnot and a second unknown assailant ordered numerous individuals to the ground at gun point in McMillan Par.  During this altercation, three individuals were shot and killed.  

Victims were identified as Jeminskian J. Arvie, 20, David Jermaine Galmore,23, and Fitzgerald Tremayne Guillory, 20, all of Lake Charles, LA.

Hadnot was also wanted on criminal charges from a shooting that occurred in September 2012. The 2012 charges are Attempted 2nd Degree Murder and Illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.

Lead Detectives are Sgt. Frank Fondel, St, Lecia McCullough and Detective Colby Thompson.
