WEST ORANGE — The West Orange–Cove Consolidated Independent School District is pleased to announce that Rod Anderson is the new principal of West Orange–Stark High School, effective immediately.

Anderson has been serving as the Interim Principal of WO-S High School since the end of November.

James Colbert, WO-C CISD superintendent, said, “During the time that Mr. Anderson has served as interim principal, I have been pleased that the leadership he has displayed has affirmed all of my expectations. Because of a successful track record in every assignment within our school district, as well as the confidence that I have in him being able to lead West Orange – Stark High School, I am pleased to appoint him to this permanent position.”

Anderson has been a member of the West Orange-Cove Consolidated Independent School District since 2007.

“Over the last few years I have had the pleasure of serving all the stakeholders of West Orange-Cove at three campuses,” Anderson said. “I look forward to many years of continuing to serve here in WO-C CISD. We have many challenges in education today, but together we can create a school that meets, and exceeds, the educational, social and physical needs of all students.
