The Vidor Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 5, at in the Fellowship Hall of First Pentecostal Church at Camp and Wilson Streets.

City Council

Pine Forest City Council will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 5, at City Hall, 305 Nagel St. in Pine Forest. The public is welcome to attend.

Fall sale

The Friends of the Vidor Public Library will hold its annual fall sale on Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the Mellie Nagai Community Room of the Vidor Public Libary 440 E. Bolivar in Vidor. Items available include Christmas goods, linens, collectibles and books.

The Mighty Pirates 4-H Club will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Raymond Gould Community, corner of Claiborne Street and I-10 East feeder road in Vidor. Call Cathy at 409-769-4346 for info.
