Student Council attended the Texas Association of Student Councils Middle Level Conference

ORANGE — The St. Mary Catholic School Student Council attended the Texas Association of Student Councils Middle Level Conference in San Marcos of the weekend. McCartney Miller is holding the Certificate for the award winning status. The council has been recognized as Outstanding Student Council, Outstanding Energy and Environment Student Council, Outstanding Pride and Patriotism Student Council, Outstanding Drugs, Alcohol, Health and Safety Student Council and Outstanding Community Service Student Council. The accumulation of all the Outstanding awards gives St. Mary Catholic School Student Council Sweepstakes status. Pictured are Lydia Covington, Spencer Johns, Dherin Wright, Mrs. Angie Smith (adviser), Olivia Fuselier, McCartney Miller, Krystal Lester, Shelby Smith, John Hughes, Elijah Vigil, Victoria Doan, Megan Do and Thomas Nguyen. The council attended sessions to enhance their leadership attributes and will bring back new projects to share with the school and community. Mrs. Leisa Miller attended as co-adviser.
