VIDOR — Vidor High School Criminal Justice Club took part in the Annual Garth House Golf Tournament on Monday, March 25. “Fore the Children” is the slogan used for the fundraiser event and VHS students helped with security as well as serving lunch, preparing drink carts, picking up and removing trash from the area. The Garth House has been open to the abused children of Southeast Texas for 21 years and now serves six counties with satellite offices in Hardin, Jasper, Newton, Orange and Tyler Counties. The President’s Honor List for the fall 2013 semester at McNeese State University has been announced. To be on the President’s Honor List, an undergraduate student must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average or better while carrying at least 15 semester hours.
