WO-S homecoming parade moved to Monday

WEST ORANGE — The West Orange–Stark High School Homecoming parade and community pep rally, sponsored by the Key Club, will be held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 12.

WO-S High School Key Club sponsor Meri Elen Jacobs said, “The Homecoming Parade has been changed from the traditional Thursday night event to Monday night, October 12th. This change allows for most organizations, middle school athletics and cheer squad, the Junior Varsity and ninth grade teams to participate.”

The parade will begin at the track on Western Avenue located near the former West Orange–Stark Intermediate School, and then travel on Western Avenue to Dan R. Hooks Football Stadium, where the community pep rally will be held.

The public is invited to attend.
