Batman tragedy, Penn St. reminders the world has villains

Batman is only Batman because he has Bane, the Scarecrow and the Joker.

Heroes cannot be heroes if there is no villain or criminal to take down and save the day.

Penn State University had more than one villain it seems and the one to start it all was Jerry Sandusky. Now his “InJustice League” are the ones left to suffer from their poor decisions while he sits in jail.

The shootings in Aurora, Colorado this past weekend were hard to wrap your mind around at the time.

What drives a person to shoot up a movie complex and injure people who are simply there to enjoy a classic movie?

Then we all started to learn more about the shooter and how intelligent he does seem and it makes the story even more crazy.

Penn State wishes their comic book story stopped at Sandusky.

The late Joe Paterno’s name is being tarnished more these days than Sandusky’s it seems and maybe that is not a bad thing.

If one takes the investigation into the Sandusky years as fact, and it was done by a former FBI agent, then Paterno and other PSU officials could have brought an end to this story a long time ago.

Instead the report details how Paterno and others basically sat back and let news of the sexual assault of young boys go in one ear and out the other.

Sandusky is a villain. Paterno for his role in letting Sandusky continue his assault instead of taking action is a villain.

The Batman movie shooter is a villain and they are all on the same level as the next one.

There will be heroes out of these stories and some have already come forward. These are the people who shielded others during the movie attack.

These stories put a dark light over our nation yet there will be a Batman to turn the light back on.
