Esther Ainsworth Frazee

ORANGE — Esther Ainsworth Frazee, 71, Polk City, FL, previously of Deweyville, TX, went home to the Lord on September 5, 2012, at Bartow Hospital in Bartow, FL. Esther was born Oct. 29, 1940, in Beaumont, TX, to Marvin(Bugs) Ainsworth and Evelyn McGee Ainsworth. Esther was married for 53 years to her loving husband, Alton J Frazee, Sr. who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents, her daughter, Sondi Kartman, and grandson, Richard Kartman.

Esther was the most loving and kindest of souls. Her humor and wit only added to the wonder of her personality. She truly never met a stranger. She made friends wherever she went and to whomever she spoke to. She took comfort in helping others but her greatest role in life was being the matriarch and strength of her family. A spirit-filled lady who loved to read her worn black Bible, loved Jesus, and loved to pray. Her loving arms, warm kisses, gentle touch, and even sometimes “the LOOK” will be missed by all.

She loved to read, cook, and gardening. Filling the house with scrumptious smells at the holidays was her expertise; sharing homemade pralines and divinity with family, friends, and staffs at the local doctor offices was her pleasure. Esther was a creative artistic person who could paint and /or decorate the most beautiful and sometimes odd creations that are enjoyed by her many survivors who include: brother Rayburn Ainsworth (Melba), sister Libby Romero (Richard), daughters Aletha Jackson (Curtis) and Dee Hodgkinson (Carroll), sons Al Frazee, Jr (Tammy), Ronnie Frazee, Ray Frazee (Kris), son in law, David Kartman, brothers in law, Johnny Frazee (Cliffie), Gerald Huff, and JW McGee. Also surviving their Maw Maw, Mammy, Old Maw Maw, and Grandmother are 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren (with another expected). There are many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many others that survive her as well.

According to her wishes her no formal funeral will be held. There will be a Life Celebration held at the American Legion in Orange, TX, on October 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM. If you have condolences, fond memories, words or pictures you would like to share with the family, please make plans to attend. There will be lots of food and drinks served. So come and share the love in remembrance of a wonderful lady. We love you, Momma, with all our hearts…sleep with angels.
