ORANGE — Robert Maurice Cain, 82, known to most as Bob or Bobby, passed away in Tomball, Texas on 28 April 2014.
He was born in Nebraska and left at age 19, although he remained a big Cornhusker football fan. He was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association since 1967 and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers since 1952. He served his country in the US Army (1953-1955).
He is survived by his two daughters: Bobbi and her husband Robert ‘Buddy’ Norris (TX), his grandsons: Justin Robert Tessandori and his wife Tomomi (USS Mustin, US Navy - Japan), Austin Norris and his wife Amanda (TX); Robbi and her husband Mark Grabowski (CA), his granddaughter Kaycie (TX); five of his 16 siblings: Jerry Cain (ND), Jim Cain and his wife Dee (CO), Elaine Hoffman (KS), Claire Cullen (CA), Connie and David Torstvet (CA), two sisters-in-law Bobbie Cain (CA) and Hazel Cain (OR), numerous nephews and nieces; his longtime girlfriend, Frieda Brown and life time friends Shirley McCarey, Mike and Terri McCarey, Pat and Debbie McCarey.
Bob’s ashes will be scattered in the horse arena with Mr. L. J. ‘Curley’ McCarey.
