Mr. Wesley Forward

ORANGE — The Celebration of Life for Mr. Wesley Forward, 63, of Orange, will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Mount Zion Baptist Church. Rev. C.W. Crawford, pastor, will officiate.

Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Hollywood Community Cemetery under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

He died Wednesday at his residence.

An Orange native, he was a 1967 graduate of Emma H. Wallace High School.

Serving in both the U. S. Army and U. S. Air Force, he completed two tours of duty during the Vietnam Conflict. He was Discharged With Honors.

He was employed at the former Bayer Plant in Orange as an Operator.

He is survived by his wife, Mona Roberts Forward of Orange, TX, 1 step-son, Desmond Roberts of Houston, TX, 3 daughters, Adreama Blackwell and Bowana Roulette, both of Orange, TX and Tina Prentice of Austin, TX, 1 brother, Rev. Tommy Forward of Orange, TX, 1 sister, Minister Debra Hines of Austin, TX, and 8 grandchildren.
