Marshall Garland “Foss” Reynolds, 69, of Buna, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 in Beaumont. He was born September 22, 1943 in Shelby County to Jim Bob Reynolds and Janie Marie Wagstaff Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds was retired from Ibew Local 479 in Beaumont, where he employed as an electrician for over 34 years. He was a member of Madison Masonic Lodge #126 in Orange and a member of Old Laurel Baptist Church in Buna.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Reynolds Cemetery in the Dreka Community of Shelby County with Bro. Lee Everheart officiating.
Pallbearers will be Crockett Drake, Lawrence Hughes, James Drake, Dudley Cox, Douglas Jackson and Don Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronny Lynch and Jimmie Earl Oates.
He is survived by wife: Wanda Reynolds of Buna; sons; Jim Marshall Reynolds of Buna, James Darrell Reynolds of Buna; Granddaughter: Whitney Cheree Marshall and husband, Robert of Port Neches; Sisters: Shirley Harington and husband, Daniel of Shelbyville, Frances Bird and husband, Ray of Nederland; Brother-in-law: Spencer Parker of Shelbyville; Sister-in-law: Bernadine Creech of Center and a number of nieces and nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by Parents Jim Bob Reynolds and Janie Marie Wagstaff Reynolds.
