Lois Nell Eakin Harrell, 87, of Orange passed away on Friday, August 2, 2013.
She was native of Ranger, Texas, born on July 25, 1926 to parents Lena Merle (Collins) and Roby Justin Eakin. She had lived in the Orange area for 56 plus years and had worked as a security guard for many years in the Beaumont and Orange area. Lois was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Ruth Smith, Valta Gaines; brothers, RJ Eakin, Howard Eakin and nephew, James Howard Eakin.
She is survived by her son, Virge Bagesse and wife, Gerladine of Orange; grandchildren, Carlette Johnson and husband, Reginald, Telisa Phillips, Virge Bagesse Jr.; great grandchildren, Meagan Harrison, Andrew and Dustin Chesson, Caelen and Jaelah Johnson; great great grandson, Tripp Goins. She is also survived by her sisters, June Fleming of Bridge City, Sue Adams of Oklahoma; brother, Drew Eakin of Vidor and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 10 AM at The Cowboy Church of Orange County, with Rev. Dale Lee Officiating. Cremation was held under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent for the family at www.dormanfuneralhome.com
