Kristin N. DeYoung, 32, of Bridge City, died Monday, September 16, 2013. She was born December 8, 1980, to Sharon Coleman Hodges and Billy Coleman, Sr. in Galliano, Louisiana, and had been a resident of Southeast Texas since 1983. Kristin is a 1999 graduate of Hamshire-Fannett High School. She was a loving daughter, mother and wife.
Kristin is survived by her husband, Chad DeYoung; son, Kade DeYoung, both of Bridge City; mother, Sharon Coleman Hodges of Onalaska; brother, Billy Coleman; sister, Kathy Ammonds of West Memphis, Arkansas; nephews, Kevin Klein, Parker Kidder and Jonah Kidder; nieces, Jerry Ammonds and Sydney Kidder; father and mother-in-law, David and Joann DeYoung; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Tammy Kidder; and numerous family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Coleman, Sr.
A gathering of Mrs. DeYoung’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Stonegate Church of Christ, 3948 Highway 365, Port Arthur, with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Orange.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mid-County Teachers Credit Union, 524 North Memorial Boulevard, Nederland, Texas 77627, where an account has been established in Kristin’s name.
