Donna Jean Tatum, 59, of Bay City, Texas, went to join her Lord and Savior in the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, June 6, 2013. She was born on July 24, 1953, in Bay City, Texas.
A celebration of her life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at the Raymond Gould Community Center in Vidor, Texas.
Donna is a well-traveled woman and has resided in many communities across Texas, including the cities of Groves, Pasadena, Vidor, Houston, Sargent, and Bay City. She lived in Quanah, Texas, for 24 years before moving to Colorado to be close to family and eventually returning to Texas. She worked a variety of jobs in the customer service and hospitality industries and continued to do so up until her passing.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Amanda Mann, and her husband, Tommy, of Vidor, Texas; sons, Corey Mills and his wife, Tammie, of Fort Carson, Colorado; Ricky Tinker and his wife, Tiffany, of Snyder, Texas; grandchildren, Jessica, Katie, Johnbreaux, Ashley, Damian and Jaime; sisters, Cyndy Roe and Jackie Blechen, and her brother, Jim Tatum. She also leaves behind many friends and relatives in Quanah, Texas and the Bay City-Sargent, Texas areas.
