Alfred Richard

Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Opelousas, for Alfred Richard, 91, who expired Monday, June 29, 2009 in Opelousas, LA.

Mr. Richard leaves to cherish his loving memories two brothers, Pastor Curley Richard and Bobby Richard, both of Opelousas; one sister, Pastor L. Charlotte, of Orange, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Mary Richard, Sr., five brothers, Andrew, Jr., Percy, Jimmy, Joseph and Herbert Richard; three sisters Beatrice Richard, Marie Richard and Viola Roberts.

Interment will be in St. James Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Curley Richard,will officiate at the services.

Visiting hours will be observed from 9:00a.m. to 11:00a.m., Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
