Lenro Hawthorne,
Lenro Hawthorne 74 of Orange, Texas died on June 21, 2009 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Tx after a short illness.
Mr. Hawthorne was a resident of Orange, Tx for 68 years and a native of Wiergate, Texas. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a retired Boiler Maker from the former Levingston Ship Builders.
Home going celebration will be on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church located at 512 West John street in Orange, Tx with Pastor C.W. Crawford officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:30 p.m. til time of service. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Hawthorne is survived by his wife Beverly Ann Hawthorne of Orange, Tx. Four sons, Larry Roberts, Milton Hawthorne, John Hawthorne and Clifton Hawthorne all of Orange, Tx. Two daughters, Mary Catherine Brown of Orange, Tx and Valerie Martin of Flower Mound, Tx. Two brothers, Edward Hawthorne of Orange, Tx and Jerry Hawthorne of Tracey, Ca. Two sisters, Beadie Carroll of Compton, Ca and Jo Ann Walker of Wichita, Kansas. He also leaves behind 27 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
