A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Mary Sarah Bouillion, 52, who died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.
Fr. Stephen LeBlanc, pastor of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lafayette, will be officiating for the services with Fr. Gary Schexnayder, pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, assisting. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to the time of service. Sr. Justina Baker will be leading the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Mausoleum.
She is survived by three sisters, Dorian B. Lee of Crowley, Cecile B. Thibodeaux and her husband Faron of Bangkok, Thailand, and Shawn B. Hoffpauir and her husband Ron of Humble, TX; one brother, Gene J. Bouillion, Jr. and his wife Cheri of Orange, TX; three nieces, Courtney Low and her husband Harold of Humble, TX, Traci Thomson and her husband Will of Mobile, AL, and Alex Hoffpauir of Humble, TX; five nephews, Blake Bouillion of Orange, TX; Justin Lee and his wife Hollie of Crowley, Zachary Hoffpauir of Humble, TX, John Paul and Adam Thibodeaux of Bangkok, Thailand; two great-nieces, Kelsey and Elizabeth Low of Humble, TX; and two great-nephews, Kade Bouillion of Orange, TX, and Jacob Thomson of Mobile, AL.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Maudrey LeBlanc Bouillion.
Pallbearers will be Blake Bouillion, Justin Lee, Zachary Hoffpauir, John Paul Thibodeaux, Adam Thibodeaux, Harold Low, and Will Thomson.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Henderson.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to all of Sarah’s sitters over the past 15 years, Fr. Gary Schexnayder, Dr. M.N. Katira and his staff, and the staff of American Legion Hospital for the care and compassion that they administered to her and the family.
