Matthew Sims,

Matthew Sims 74 of Orange, Texas died on May 1, 2008 at his residence after a short illness.



Mr. Sims was a life long resident of Orange and was retired from Dupont Sabine River Works Company after many years of service.



Homegoing celebration will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Starlight Church of God in Christ located at 2800 Bob Hall road in Orange, Texas with the Pastor E.B. Linsey officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. til time of service. Interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Memorial Chapel.



Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Sims of Orange, Tx. One son, Johnathon Sims of Orange, Tx. Four daughters, Anette St. Julien, Tamaron Taylor (Ronald) and Nathlie Mitchell all of Orange, Tx. Debra Cooper (Gary)of Sheveport, La. One brother, Robert Sims (Ceatrice) of Orange, Tx. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
