Georgie Voltz

Our “precious and beloved” Georgie. Although she was undergoing extensive treatment for ovarian cancer, she still accompanied me to M.D. Anderson when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008.

I am a survivor. She was not as blessed. She fought the battle until God called her home in need of another “angel.”

The best friend, daughter, mother and wife, so sorely missed by everyone whose life she touched. Her bravery and courageous attitude have been an inspiration to us all. She left us with many joyous memories.

Thank you Georgie,

“See you on the other side.”

Donna Ruth Blair

Thanks to my mammogram, my breast cancer was detected early. And, thanks to my wonderful surgeon I have been in remission for two years and lead a very active life.

Emma Dell “Kiel” Theall

Port Arthur

A woman of Godly virtues, Godly wisdom, great courage, and compassion; fought the good fight of faith. She won the race, but lost the battle to cancer. We greatly miss her presence, words of encouragement, and her beautiful smile.

The important thing I want women to know is "to know  their body." I was told that I was OK after having a mammogram and a ultra sound. I knew better so I insisted on going to M. D. Anderson where I was diagnosed with almost stage 3 breast cancer. I had just recently had my first grandbaby and wanted to be around to see her grow up. First giving praises to God then to M. D. Anderson,  I am grateful to say that I am a 13 year survivor with 3 additional grandkids.
