Jennifer Lynn LeBlanc became the bride of Matthew Joseph Degeyter on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 5 p.m. at the Brown Center in Orange, Texas. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by George Cruse, pastor of Echo Baptist Church of Orange.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Jennie LeBlanc of Orange. She is the granddaughter of Francis LeBlanc of Lafayette, Louisiana and the late Beverly LeBlanc, Jack and Velma Taylor of Woodville and the late Basel Cassidy. She was escorted down the aisle by her father.
The groom is the son of David Degeyter of Bridge City and Jennifer Degeyter of Austin. He is the grandson of Avite and Ella Rose Degeyter of Port Arthur and Jason and Marie Gateley of Grady Arkansas, and the late Joe Prather.
Attending the bride as Matron of Honor was Shea Rhodes. Bridesmaids were Candace Gipson and Monica Cassidy. Junior Bridesmaid was Gabbie LeBlanc, niece of the bride. The Best Man was Trey Rhodes. Groomsmen were Taylor Degeyter, brother of the groom and Makin Ledford. Junior Groomsman was Slade LeBlanc, nephew of the bride. The ring bearer was the nephew of the groom, Jack Tinsley. Drue Degeyter, Eric Degeyter, Cory Ballard and Brandon Guidroz seated guests. Registering the guests were Caitlin McCroskey and Kaitlyn Hicks.
The reception, held at the Brown Center was hosted by the bride’s parents, with music provided by SETX Pro Sound. On the eve of the ceremony a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s family.
The bride is a 2002 graduate from West Orange-Stark High School and graduated from McNeese State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Management. She is employed by Security Abstract and Title Co. The groom is a 2003 graduate from Bridge City High School and is employed by Anderson Surveying & Mapping. Following their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Orange.
