Nederland man sent to prison for child porn violations

BEAUMONT — A 39-year-old Nederland, Texas man has been sentenced to federal prison for child pornography violations in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales on Wednesday.

Donovan Ray Kendrick pleaded guilty on June 12, 2012, to possession of child pornography and was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Thad Heartfield.

According to information presented in court, in December 2010, law enforcement officers and agents executed a federal search warrant at Kendrick’s residence in Nederland, Texas. A personal computer was seized during the search.
