Strong to severe storms threaten the area

ORANGE — The National Weather Service Lake Charles said there is a threat for Southeast Texas and Southwest and Central Louisiana late Sunday night into Monday morning for strong to severe storms.

The service is expecting around an inch of rain with the system and will continue monitoring it for the possibility of strong to severe storms. Patchy fog is possible late night and early morning through this weekend.

Colder temperatures are behind the front, with lows expected in the 30s for Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

The highs are expected in the 50s-60s for Tuesday and Wednesday.
