Pinehurst PD searching for man involved in Dollar General robbery


The Dollar General, 2500 ML King Drive, was robbed at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to a press realese, store personal said a white man entered the store and made a purchase.

When the employee opened the cash register to make change, the white male produced a black semi-automatic pistol, threatened the employee, and removed an undetermined amount of cash from the register before fleeing the store. 

The white male is described as being about 5' 09” tall, 175 lbs., with short gray hair, gray stubby facial hair, with a reddish complexion. Possibly in his late 30's. 

He was wearing a black toboggan hat, red long sleeve sweatshirt, and light colored blue jeans. 

The vehicle is described as a late model silver Chevrolet Impala with damage on the rear passenger side area.

It should be noted that the time stamp on the photograph is one hour off due to the recent time change.
