Sells for disposal passes and annual stickers for collection site begin

ORANGE — Orange County now has annual window stickers and disposal passes on sale at the Road and Bridge Office and at the Tax Office in Orange and Vidor.

“The stickers and passes will not be sold at the Collection Site,” County Engineer Carl Slacum said during the announcements at the Orange County Commissioners Court on Monday, “There are no funds at the site.”

A representative if iDocket said that attorneys and bondsmen are the main customers.

There is a fee per query at the site and $1 a page to access the documents.

The court approved all non-inventory and inventory items currently in surplus to be sold in an upcoming on-line auction.

“So moved!,” Commissioner Pct. 3 John Banken said.

“Let’s sell this stuff,” Thibodeaux said.

The county has moved several items to surplus in recent months in anticipation of the on-line auction. The date for the auction is yet to be announced.
