ORANGE — Men’s Conference

New Beginning Church Outreach Ministry will hold its first ever Men’s Conference from 9 a.m. - noon, Saturday, Oct. 20, and 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 21. The public is invited to be blessed with five dynamic men of power and men of purpose. Call 409-670-2994 or 409-886-5554 for information.

Orange Boat Club Elections

The Orange Boat Club will hold elections for Board of Directors and Officers from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at the boat club, 2206 Dupont Drive in Orange. Links will be served during election time. For any member interested in running for a Board of Director or Officer position there is a notebook in the bar, you may register by writing your name under the position that you want to apply for. To have your name on the official ballot, you must register by Oct. 15. You may still register as a write-in candidate up until 6:59 AM on Oct. 20.

Harold Leigh benefit

A benefit will be held on Sunday, Oct. 21, to help the children of Harold Leigh, who died from severe brain injury following an automobile collision. Events include a fun run, auction with fabulous prizes, raffles, shirts, bracelets, food and more.

Youth Rodeo

Cowboy Church of Orange County, 673 FM 1078 in Orange, will hold a youth rodeo for ages 18 and younger beginning at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 21. Registration begins at 8 a.m., and all participants who attend 10:30 a.m. church service will have entry fees paid for by God. Guest speaker is Scott Mendes, former world champion bull rider. Harvest Chapel Campmeeting

Harvest Chapel Full Gospel Church, 1305 Irving St. in West Orange, will have its Campmeeting at 10 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 21, and 7 p.m., nightly, Monday, Oct. 22 - Friday, Oct. 26.
