From staff reports

The Orange branch of the NAACP is offering registered voters without transportation an opportunity to get to the polls.

Today is election day, and the NAACP knows the importance of this day to all registered voters. The Orange chapter of the organization is offering transportation assistance to registered voters who might otherwise be unable to reach their correct polling location.

Registered voters in Orange seeking transportation may call the following for transportation or other information:

• Salem United Methodist Church 409-883-2611

• Greater St. Paul Christian Fellowship Church 409-886-2054

• St. Paul CME Church 409-883-8979
