The Orange branch of the NAACP is offering registered voters without transportation an opportunity to get to the polls.
Today is election day, and the NAACP knows the importance of this day to all registered voters. The Orange chapter of the organization is offering transportation assistance to registered voters who might otherwise be unable to reach their correct polling location.
The NAACP, along with three local churches, will do their best to help registered voters reach their respective voting locations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., today. Those churches are Salem United Methodist Church, Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and St. Paul CME Church.
