Senor Toro’s Mexican Restaurant, 2308 Lutcher Drive in Orange, is under new management and the change is reflected in the latest inspection for health and code compliance. The restaurant received a score of 100 out of a possible 100 during an inspection on Wednesday.
“Part of the Economic Development Department’s purpose is to not only bring in new businesses but to also retain the companies in the area as well,” City of Orange Director of Economic Development Jay Trahan said. “The managers did all the work to correct the issues.”
Trahan said he assisted the managers by helping them understand the requirements needed after the business received several demerits during an inspection in mid-April.
“They worked very hard to correct all the violations since the previous inspection,” Orange County Health and Code Compliance Inspector James Scales said. “All the violations have been corrected.”
