WEST ORANGE — The Army Recruiting Office, 3109 Edgar Brown Drive, will relocate to an currently undetermined location in Beaumont in mid to late 2014.

The relocation will effect the Orange and Port Arthur areas as recruits will have to go to the office in Beaumont to enlist in the Army.

US Army Recruiter Sergeant Jonathan Dickey said a new recruiting station will be built in Beaumont once a location is selected.

“There will be one station in the Beaumont area for recruiting then,” Dickey said.

US Marine Corps Recruiter Nicholas Dale said the Marines recruiting office will remain in Orange.
