ORANGE — Holy Workers

Faith United Methodist Church, 8608 MLK, Jr. Drive in Orange, is hosting a “Holy Workers” work day from 10:30 a.m. - noon, Sunday, Feb. 24. Worship service is from 9:30-10:30am. There will be no Sunday School Classes that morning. Cleaning will begin at 10:30 followed by a luncheon at noon. Please come to church in your work clothes. We invite everyone to take part. 4th Sunday FIRE services

Kingdom Seekers Church of God in Christ, 625 Graham St. in Jasper, will have its 4th Sunday Fellowship In Real Effect (FIRE) Services at 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 24. Call Danita Franklin at 409-489-2355 or Alisha Fussell at 409-381-8600 for info.

Spirit Powered Journey

First Christian Church of Orange, located at Ninth and Elm, invites the public on a “Spirit-Powered 2013 Journey to the Empty Tomb” at 10 a.m., Sunday worship, Feb. 24 to hear the message, “Rising Above Our Doubts and Disappointments.” The public is invited.

Garage sale

Wesley United Methodist Church, 401 37th St. in Orange, will have an indoor garage sale from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday, March 2, rain or shine. Items include electronics, small kitchen appliances, dishes, glassware, collectibles, linens, furniture, games, toys, sporting goods, Christmas, crafts, jewelry, books and more.

Church Anniversary

New Beginning Church invites the public to attend and worship at its 5th church anniversry at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 10. Guest speaker is Pastor Raymond Young and congregation.

Good Friday service

New Beginning Church invites the public to attend its Good Friday service at 7 p.m., Friday, March 29. From the cross the last seven words of Christ. Come out and be blessed.

Gospel singing

New Annointing Church, 10681 N. Hwy 87 in Orange, invites the public to attend its good old gospel singing at 7 p.m., Friday, March 29. Bring your favorite gospel song on tape or CD, musical instruments are welcome, or have musicians accompany you. Refreshments will follow the singing. Call 409-746-9515 for info.
