The City of Pinehurst will hold its regularly scheduled council meeting at 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, at Pinehurst City Hall, 2497 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Pinehurst. The public is invited.

Vidor Runners and Walkers

Vidor Runners and Walkers meet at 5:30 p.m., every Tuesday, at Claiborne West Park. Runners and walkers of every age and level are invited.

Lenten Lunch Series

The Faith United Methodist Women of Faith United Methodist Church, 8608 MLK Drive in Orange, invite the public to its weekly Lenten Lunch Speaker Series from noon to 1 p.m., every Wednesday during Lent continuing March 26, April 2 and April 9. A light lunch will be served. Call the church at 409-886-1291 for info.

Managing  Pests in Bee hives

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension of Orange County is holding a free class in Managing Pests in Bee Hives. This will support a stronger bee hive with more honey production. The class will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 27 in the AgriLife Extension Office. If interested please call the office at 409-882-7010 and let us know so we can plan for the class materials.

Art Classes

Art classes for the Port Arthur Art Association are held from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., every Friday at the Texas Artists Museum, 3501 Cultural Center Drive, near the Bob Bower Civic Center. Shirley Peel will instruct classes will March 28, April 4, April 11, April 25, and May 2. No class will be held on April 18. The cost is $4 for members, and $5 for non-members. Annual dues are $15 for those who wish to join. All ages are welcome, and you do not have to be an experienced painter. If you have any questions, please call Wanda at 409-722-2950.
