The Orange County Health Inspector recently performed a routine inspection at Kwick Stop - Valero located at 1555 16th Street in Orange. They received a 77 out of a possible 100. Demerits are for hot dogs at below safe temperatures, in need of name and address on all bags of ice sold, 16 expired food on the shelves, storing bait shrimp above bags of ice, and chemicals and oil stored above pet foods. It is noted on the report, the establishment started cooking Hunt’s Brothers pizzas in the store without the required three compartment sink to wash dishes.
The inspector also examined Super Stop #3 located at 2745 Evageline in Vidor. They received a 96 out of a possible 100. The demerits were for 29 expired food items on the shelves.
