VIDOR — Local law agencies reported two pounds of cocaine were found in an SUV which crashed recently into an overpass in Vidor. The SUV had led police on a high-speed chase through Beaumont on Thursday. Law officials first tried to stop the vehicle for a traffic violation at 9 a.m. Thursday on Interstate 10 before the SUV took off and later went the wrong way on an access road. Officials reported the driver of the SUV exited at Highway 12 and jumped out the vehicle before the crash. A passenger in the car was injured and the driver was soon caught by police.
