Police seeking info on attempted bank robbery

ORANGE — The Orange Police Department is seeking information into an attempted bank robbery this past weekend.

An unidentified white male entered the Chase Bank location at 3109 16th St. in Orange shortly after 10 a.m., Saturday, July 27 and proceeded to the counter, where he then handed a teller a note demanding money, according to police.

The culprit did not display a weapon. However, according to a report, the unidentified man appeared to become nervous and fled the scene without taking anything from the bank.

The man was wearing a green T-shirt, blue jeans and a Dallas Cowboys cap. He was last seen running from the bank headed north on 16th Street.
