Man wanted by OPD for questioning arrested

Latham to be interviewed about Vinton woman's disappearance

ORANGE — A man wanted by Orange Police Department officers has been arrested in Maryvillle, Tenn.

Joshua Latham, 26 of Orange, was arrested for a felony probation violation and officers also wanted to question Latham about the disappearance of Tami Higginbotham.

A press release sent out by OPD stated Latham had family in Tennessee and was arrested at about 8 p.m. Thursday night.

Latham's girlfriend and baby were with him and were reported to be safe.

Detectives with OPD and the Texas Rangers are headed to Tennessee to interview Latham concerning Higginbotham's disappearanace.

Higginbotham, 41, was last said last Friday afternoon and was headed to Orange. Her vehicle was found on Simmons Drive at Blue Bird's Fish Camp.
