ROSE CITY —
Monday may be a holiday for some, but it will be work as normal for road crews.
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has announced a lane closure on Monday at the Neches River Bridge connecting Orange County to Beaumont, and it could provide some extended delays during the day.
Workers will be busy making repairs to the road surface, which will force the closure of the westbound left lane of Interstate 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Jan. 21, at the Neches River Bridge.
Delays could be encountered and, at times, may be extensive, so motorists are asked to plan accordingly and to watch for workers in the construction zone.
All work is done weather permitting and does not reflect emergency lane closures.
