ORANGE — Mrs. Whitten’s fourth grade class at Community Christian School collected gifts, groceries and money to purchase a gift card for a couple of Senior Citizens in our community. These kids also went out to bless Mrs. Beverly Spell and her roommate Gracie with Christmas carols, prayer and banana nut bread. The children were also blessed when Mrs. Spell surprised each child with a gift of homemade Christmas “trash” mix to eat and blessed each adult sponsor with a homemade ornament. The children also blessed six other older families with caroling and prayer activities.
