ORANGE — Christmas Celebration

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located on North FM 105 in Vidor, invites the public to its production of “A Christmas Celebration” at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8.

Pet Safety with Santa Claus

Cecil Toyota, 2500 I-10 West in Orange, will have Pet Safety with Santa Claus from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8. We will have gift bags and treats for all visitors, plus the Humane Society, Local Vets and pet stores will be participating in this event. Pets will possibly be on display and offered for adoption also.

The Vidor High School Boys Soccer team is having a link sale from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8 in the Market Basket parking lot on North Main Street in Vidor.

Holiday Corral

West Orange Stark Project Safe Graduation will host a Mustang Holiday Corral from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8 inside the High School Activity Gym at 1400 Newton Street. We will have plenty of local vendors that will gladly help you meet your Holiday needs.

BC Christmas Parade

The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce will hold its Fourth Annual Christmas Parade at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8. Contact the BC Chamber of Commerce at 409-735-5671 or e-mal bcchamber@scbglobal.net for info.

Classic Christmas Cruise

The Vidor Chamber of Commerce will present the Vidor Classic Christmas Cruise from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, in the parking lot of Capital One Bank on North Main Street. Classic and vintage cars will be on display, plus live music, vendors and more. Call 409-769-6339 for info.

Christmas in Orangefield

The 2nd annual Christmas in Orangefield will take place at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Orangefield Cormier Museum on FM 105 next to Orangefield High School. Event begins at 10 a.m. with a parade, and event also includes crafts, games, competitions, food and entertainment throughout the day. Festivities will conclude with a reading of “The Cajun Night before Christmas” and Christmas Lights at dusk. Come help us celebrate the community and the season while supporting the Orangefield Cormier Museum.
