ORANGE — Cheese log sale

The Life Skills class of LC-M High School is holdings its annual cheese log sale. Deadline to order is Friday, Dec. 14. Cost is $6.75 each and choices are plain or jalapeno. Call 409-886-5821, Ext. 1560 or e-mail your order to tparker@lcmcisd.org. Orders will be ready Dec. 18 - Dec. 20.

Holiday Craft Extravaganza

St. Helen’s Church, 8105 FM 1442 in Orangefield, will hold its Holiday Craft Extravaganza from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1. There will be food, fun, games, inflatable slide, fire truck tours, horse rides, music, vendors and Santa Claus. The public is invited. Call 409-735-2200 for info.

Christmas Shoppe Spectacular

First United Pentecostal Church of Orange, 3406 Edgar Brown Drive, will hold its Christmas Shoppe Spectacular Craft Show and Holiday Market from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1. There will be a gumbo dinner and silent auction, plus photos with Santa from noon - 2 p.m. Crafts and vendors featuring handmade children’s clothing, quilts, wreaths, jellies, salsas, baked goods, artwork and more. Church anniversary

The community is invited to celebrate with Starlight Church of God in Christ, 2800 Bob Hall Road in Orange, on its 56th church anniversary, at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2. The theme of the Anniversary is F.B.I. - Favor, Blessings, and Increase. Guest speaker is Pastor Herbert Winston of White Rose COGIC in Port Arthur. Superintendent E.B. Lindsey is the Pastor of Starlight COGIC.

Housewarming Benefit

The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Sabine Aerie 2325, 803 N. 28th St. in Orange, will hold a housewarming benefit party for Michael and Peggy Riley from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2. The Rileys home burned down and they lost everything, including family pet. A registry has been set up at Walmart and donations are appreciated.
